USAFE selects nominees for Flemming Award Published March 15, 2006 By USAFE News Service RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- The U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently announced the command nominees for the 2004 Arthur S. Flemming Award. The nominees are: Staff Sgt. Octavius L. Toliver from the 786th Security Forces Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany and 1st Lt. Levi C. Torkelson, 435th Communications Squadron, Ramstein AB. Sponsored by the George Washington University School of Public Administration, the Flemming Awards program annually honors outstanding federal employees who have made extraordinary contributions to the federal government. The awards are given in three different categories: administrative, scientific and applied science. Sergeant Toliver will compete in the administrative cagetory and Lieutenant Torkelson will compete in the applied science category.
