USAFE names communications maintenance unit award winners

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently announced the winners of the command's 2004 Maintenance Effectiveness Awards in the communications-electronics categories.

The award winners are:

Outstanding Large Unit: 422nd Air Base Squadron, Royal Air Force Croughton, England

Outstanding Medium Unit: 39th Communications Squadron, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey

Outstanding Small Unit: 423rd ABS, RAF Alconbury, England

The awards recognize outstanding units involved in communications maintenance operations.

The units will now compete in the Air Force-level competition.
