USAFE names media contest award winners

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) --  U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently announced the winners of the command's 2004 Public Affairs Media Contest.

The winners of the media contest are:

Tabloid format newspaper — Kaiserslautern American, Ramstein Air Base, Germany; 2nd place — Eifel Times, Spangdahlem AB, Germany

Magazine format publication — Marauder, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England; 2nd place — Tip of the Sword, Incirlik AB, Turkey

Newsletter format publication — The Vigileer, Aviano AB, Italy; 2nd place — Crossroads, Lajes Air Field, Azores

News — Airman 1st Class Eydie Sakura, Spangdahlem AB; 2nd place — Staff Sgt. Elaine Aviles, Incirlik AB; 3rd place — 1st Lt. Uriah Orland, Rhein-Main AB , Germany
