USAFE announces security forces award winners

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) --  U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently announced the winners of the command's 2004 security forces unit, Julie Y. Cross Memorial and Doris R. McCrosson manager awards.

The award winners are:

Outstanding Security Forces (large unit): 31st Security Forces Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy

Outstanding Security Forces (small unit): 85th SFS, Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland

Outstanding Security Forces (Geographically Separated Unit/Munitions Support Squadron) (USAFE only): 469th Security Forces Flight, Rhein Main Air Base Group, Germany

Julie Y. Cross Memorial Award: Staff Sgt. Janee R. Walker, 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron, Vogelweh Air Base, Germany

Doris R. McCrosson Manager Award: Master Sgt. Sherry Matthews-Stinson, 568th SFS, Ramstein, AB, Germany

Award winners will now compete at the Air Force-level.
