USO Europe Service Salute honors American and German Servicemembers

MAINZ-KASTEL, Germany (USAFENS) -- A U.S. Air Forces in Europe Airman will be recognized at the 14th Annual United Service Organization Europe Service Salute, Sept. 24 in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Senior Airman Monica Leigh Whitmore, 100th Security Forces Squadron, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, is one of 10 outstanding junior enlisted military personnel, representing the five branches of the U.S. and German Armed Forces, being honored for outstanding military and community achievements.

The annual USO Europe Service Salute also celebrates and reinforces the strong partnership that exists between our Armed Forces and those of our host nation.
