Several U.S. Air Forces in Europe bases will enjoy entertainment from country artists Trick Pony, Blues Traveler lead singer John Popper and the New England Patriot Cheerleaders this Thanksgiving.

The performances are part of the seventh annual Operation Season’s Greetings tour, which will entertain American troops and their families in Europe Nov. 23 to Dec. 2.

Joining the headliners will be musicians from the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band.

Trick Pony will also visit Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, on Thanksgiving Day, and help serve Thanksgiving dinner to patients. The band members are Heidi Newfield, vocals and harmonica; Keith Burns, acoustic guitar; and Ira Dean who plays bass as well as acoustic and electric guitar.

"For seven years the USAFE and AFRC bands have worked together to bring a high-speed, energetic production to audiences throughout the command," said USAFE Band Commander Maj. Scott Guidry. "We are proud to continue that partnership and offer such a dynamic group of talent for this year's show. Between Trick Pony, John Popper, and the combined talent of the USAFE and AFRC bands, Operation Season’s Greetings 2005 will be an unforgettable experience for the troops and their families.
