Mildenhall Airman honored with Spirit of Hope nomination Published March 20, 2006 By USAFE News Service RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- An Airman assigned to Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, was recently honored as the U.S. Air Forces in Europe nominee for the 2005 U.S. Armed Forces Spirit of Hope award. Chaplain (Capt.) Chad W. Zielinski, 100th Air Refueling Wing, was nominated for demonstrating the highest degree of professionalism and dedication to his job performance and to the local community. The Spirit of Hope award is named in honor of Bob Hope, and recognizes a deserving member or organization who embodies the values of duty, honor, courage, loyalty, commitment and integrity. Chaplain Zielinski will now compete for the award at the Air Force level.
