USAFE members win Air Force public affairs awards Published March 20, 2006 By USAFE News Service RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- Air Force public affairs officials recently announced the winners of the 2004 Public Affairs Achievement awards. U.S. Air Forces in Europe took home top honors in seven categories. The winners are: The Brig. Gen. Harry J. Dalton Jr. Award (Major Command Category) – HQ USAFE, Ramstein Air Base, Germany Media Relations -- 435th Air Base Wing, Ramstein AB The Secretary of the Air Force Director’s Award for special achievement for planned single event, program or product -- HQ USAFE, Ramstein AB, for participation in joint force air component commander exercise Austere Challenge 04. Outstanding PA Company Grade Officer (wing level) – Capt. Phil Ulmer, 435th ABW, Ramstein AB Outstanding PA Noncommissioned Officer (Headquarters level) – Master Sgt. Mona Ferrell, HQ USAFE, Ramstein AB Outstanding Broadcast Senior NCO – Master Sgt.
