USAFE grabs four Air Force-level Services awards Published June 5, 2006 SEMBACH AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- Four people from U.S. Air Forces in Europe claimed Air Force-level awards recognizing excellence through the Services Awards Program. The winners are: Civilian Flight Chief: Christopher Skully, chief, Community Support Flight, 39th Services Squadron, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.Field Grade Officer: Lt. Col. Michael H. Platt, commander, 39th Services Squadron, Incirlik Air Base. Noncommissioned Officer: Tech. Sgt. Learie R. Gaitan, noncommissioned officer in charge, Plans and Readiness, 435th Services Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Senior Civilian Specialist: Alice B. Fields, lodging manager, 52nd Services Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The awards recognize those demonstrating the best leadership, management, customer focus and operational results during the past year. Winners will be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments during the Air Force Services Worldwide Conference June 11-14 in Keystone, Colo.
