USAFE Band Sponsor Information

GENERAL INFORMATION 

-USAFE Band is prohibited from supporting charity, benefit, or fund-raising events (DoD 5500.7-R, 3-210, DoDD 5410.18, 3.7). 

-The band cannot be scheduled to perform at events that appear to selectively endorse or favor any commercial business, political party, or private organization. 

-Performances other than military must be open to the general public. 

-Performance times should not exceed two hours. 

-A capable, English speaking translator should be available to coordinate and accompany the band. Should be available to serve in one or a combination of the following; translator, announcer, navigator, escort/guide. 

CONFIRMATION 

-Official confirmation will be sent to you after all conditions and terms described in our correspondence have been met. Confirmation of the band's participation in singular events is normally made no earlier than 90 days prior to the event. 

CONDITIONS OF PERFORMANCE 

DISCLAIMER: Sponsor understands that USAFE Band participation may be cancelled due to an overriding military requirement. Unforeseen delay or complete loss of procured air transportation may also result in cancellation. If the sponsor makes a significant change in an officially approved request, it may cancel confirmation and cause the request to be reevaluated. Significant changes are defined as, but not limited to: DATES, GROUP, ADDITIONAL GROUPS, and EXTENDED PERFORMANCE TIMES. 

THE SPONSOR AGREES AND GUARANTEES: 

-To pay any costs associated with hosting the event; taxes, insurance costs, rentals, and any other fees arising in connection with or incident to performance. 

-Prior written permission of the United States Air Force is required to professionally televise, broadcast, record, film or otherwise reproduce the concert in any manner whatsoever. 

-All professional recordings and films of the USAFE Band prepared by or under the control of the sponsor are the property of the United States Government, and these recordings and films will not be reproduced or used for purposes other than those specified in the agreement with the United States Air Forces, Europe. 

CERTIFYING SPONSOR AGREES TO THE CONDITIONS THAT ARE OUTLINED ABOVE. AGREEMENT IS INDICATED BY SIGNATURE BELOW AND ON THE FRONT OF THIS FORM.
