COMUSAFE awards excellence with ACE coin presentation Published Sept. 12, 2006 Ramstein Air Base, Germany (USAFENS) -- A member of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters staff received an Airmen Committed to Excellence coin here recently. Gen. Tom Hobbins, USAFE commander, presented the coin during a Sep. 12 staff meeting. Maj. Barnabus Roundtree, deputy director of the USAFE force management branch, was recognized for superior performance while providing management-level review board preparation and support to the USAFE vice commander. Major Roundtree was also lauded for his leadership during the initial transfer of virtual military personnel flight functions to USAFE field units while keeping Air Force Personnel Center officials abreast of shortfalls and fixes. The ACE award consists of a large medallion engraved with the recipient's name and sequentially numbered by order.
