RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- 1st Lt. Jennifer Kissel, 37th Airlift Squadron C-130 pilot, Staff Sgt. Keith Temple, 86th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment craftsman, and Airman 1st Class William Simpson, 86th Operations Group client supportive administrator, perform operation checks to their MCU-2A/P protective masks during Warrior Day on Ramstein Oct. 4.

Warrior Day provides preoperational briefings to various units participating in the upcoming Operational Readiness Exercise. The exercise, which began its Phase I Tuesday, is designed to test the ability of Airmen to survive in austere environments with chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive hazards. The exercise will conclude with a Phase II exercise, ending Thursday.
