Monthly dinners for families of deployed

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany --  Over 100 family members at the 52nd Fighter Wing enjoyed fine food and great service on Mar. 14  when the Mosel Dining Facility and the Spangdahlem Airman and Family Readiness Center partnered to provide the first monthly dinner for deployed families.

One of the attending deployed spouses, Mrs. Katina Holthus, commented "In 16 years of being an active duty spouse this is by far one of the best things I've seen."

Future deployed dinners are scheduled to take place on the second Thursday of each month at Spangdahlem and other dinners will be sponsored at USAFE dining facilities in the near future.
