USAFE runners fare well at AF Marathon

Ten U.S. Air Forces in Europe runners placed in the top 5 of their respective divisions at the 12th Annual Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, Sept 20.

The command's top finisher in the marathon was Josh Rapp from Sembach, who placed 4th out of 517 runners, with a time of 2:54:32. USAFE had 10 entrants in the 26-mile long event.

In addition, seven USAFE runners competed in the half-marathon, which saw a total field of 467 participants. Trasy Rincan of Mildenhall finished 2nd in the women's category of the half marathon which boasted 166 runners, and she placed first in her division of 60 entrants.
