"This reflects the hard work and perseverance of a team of dedicated medics and leadership at all levels within the organization," said Col. Patrick Storms, 31st MDG commander. "We are proud of this recognition, and of the attention it brings to our medics, but even this formal recognition pales when compared to a smile or 'thank you' from a patient we have helped on their road to recovery."
