STANFORD TRAINING AREA, England -- Airman 1st Class Ali Rickman, 100th Security Forces Squadron, comforts a "patient" while awaiting helicopter transport during a mass casualty training scenario here Sept. 8. More than 20 Airmen embedded in training with the Royal Air Force Regiment to give the British servicemembers an idea of what it is like to work with United States forces. In this scenario, Afghan contractors, each with some type of amputation, portrayed victims of an improvised explosive device attack, and servicemembers provided first aid. The regiment flight was conducting its last training scenarios before deploying to Afghanistan with U.S. Marines. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Thomas Trower)
