AF Energy Awareness Letter to Airmen Published Sept. 30, 2010 WASHINGTON -- Energy Awareness Month is a federal campaign run by the Department of Energy that occurs in October every year to encourage the federal government to promote energy awareness. This year's Air Force theme is "A New Culture: Energy as an Operations Enabler."
