USAFE announces 2010 Food Service Excellence Award

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- U.S. Air Forces in Europe officials announce the winners of the 2010 USAFE Food Service Excellence Awards in the multiple and single site categories.

The winners are:

A. Single Facility Category: 100th Air Refueling Wing, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom

B. Multiple Facility Category: 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy

C. Small Site Category: 702nd Munitions Support Squadron, Buechel Air Base, Germany

These operations are recognized as the "Best in USAFE" based on their outstanding customer service, food production, financial integrity, facility décor, and senior leadership support.

USAFE officials congratulate each member of the winning teams for their superior performance and exceptional customer service. Winners in the single and multiple categories will represent USAFE in the Air Force Hennessy Trophy Competition.
