Spangdahlem Earth Month 2011 events

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany --  The following events will be held in recognition of Earth month:

· German-American stream clean-up will take place 10 a.m. on April 16 in the Spangdahlem village. To participate in this event, meet at the Scheuermuehle.
· An Earth Day 5K fun run will be held at noon and 4 p.m. on April 20 at the fitness center. Sign-up is at the event.
· There will be an environmental education fair 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 21 at the Spangdahlem Middle School gymnasium. The education fair is open to all Sabers interested in attending.
· A tree planting will take place 1:30 p.m. April 22 at the covered basketball court.
· The 52nd Force Support Squadron Earth Day barbecue will be held 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 22 at the wing pavilion. Enjoy free food, drinks and prizes.
