Twenty-five security forces defenders from throughout the United Kingdom attended a simmuntions instructor's course at Royal Air Force Molesworth Oct. 22 and 23.

Defenders from the 423rd Security Forces Squadron at RAF Alconbury; 422nd SFS at RAF Croughton; 48th SFS at RAF Lakenheath; and 100th SFS at RAF Mildenhall learned how to handle duty weapons and Simmuntions safely at the event hosted by the 423rd SFS.

"The defenders in attendance were taught how to develop different training drills, scenarios and exercises using simmuntions," said Tech. Sgt. Torrie Stack, 423rd SFS combat arms training and maintenance instructor. "This training allows all of the U.K. security forces units to conduct sustainment firing and active shooter training more effectively."

Upon completion of the class, each Defender received a three-year simmuntions instructor certification, which allows them to go back to their home stations and help enhance their unit's mission.
