A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster drops supplies over a drop zone in Adazi, Latvia, June 9, 2018. Four aircraft from the 62nd Airlift Wing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington and four aircraft from the 437th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina provided support to exercise Swift Response 18. Swift Response included approximately 2,300 participants from seven allied nations to help train the U.S. Global Response Force, led by the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, in Joint Forcible Entry operations.
