USAFE-AFAFRICA/A4 visits Chabelley Airfield for hands on experience
A picture of an advanced optic from a defensive fighting position was taken during a USAFE-AFAFRICA/A4 site visit at Chabelley Airfield, Djibouti, Dec. 1, 2021. During the visit headquarters staff were able to gain familiarization of ongoing base defense and infrastructure projects, such as optics. These optics were recently delivered and are an important enhancement to the base defense capabilities, giving U.S. security forces increased ability to accurately engage an enemy force.
