Airman’s 425- mile journey across Germany
Lt. Col. Jason Dudjak, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Expeditionary Operations Branch chief, poses next to his bike July 23. Dudjak will make a 425-mile trip, biking from Ramstein to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Dudjak has trained four months for this five-day trip. He will bike 60 to 100 miles each day and will be hosted in guest houses along the way for rest and recuperation. Although Dudjak has traveled through Germany over the course of his tour, his hope is to experience the country at a slower pace and get the chance to interact with the locals. The road trip begins Aug. 4. Visit the Ramstein Air Base Web page to view photos and track his progression throughout his journey. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Caitlin Guinazu)
