Unarmed Airman stopped armed robbery
U.S. Air Force Col. David J. Julazadeh, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, presents Staff Sgt. Nathan P. Londak, a security forces Airman stationed at Volkel Air Base, The Netherlands, an Airman's Medal on Nov. 15. This medal is given to service members who distinguish themselves with heroic actions, usually at the voluntary risk of their lives, but without involving combat.
