Tending to flowers
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – A gardener from the 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron breaks dead branches from flowers at the greenhouse on Bitburg Annex June 14. By planting and growing more than 35,000 flowers a year, the 52nd CES annually saves the Air Force approximately 50,000 Euro and maintains more than 45 different species of flowers throughout the year.
