  • Guard and Reserve Airmen provide ready, agile airlift capability for U.S. European Command during Silver Arrow 19

    From April 9-24, two C-130H Hercules aircraft and more than 50 Airmen assigned to the 700th Airlift Squadron, 94th Airlift Wing, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., participated in the first two-week rotation of Silver Arrow 19, a six-month surge of airlift capability within the U.S. European Command area of responsibility staged from Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

  • Fast and Furious 48 hours of readiness in UK

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing and 48th Fighter Wing completed a 48-hour readiness exercise, which included aerial refueling and limited night flying April 23-25. Mission Assurance Exercise 19-01, designated ‘FURIOUS 48,’ brought the two wings together to work on combat skills and aerial refueling training. Airmen tested their ability to survive and operate in wartime conditions, as well as showcased their ability to generate combat airpower in a wide range of environments and scenarios.
  • Medical Airmen Enhance Total Force with Joint Training

    Medical professionals from the 184th Medical Group Kansas Air National Guard and 48th Medical Operations Squadron enhanced their total force capabilities by training with the Airmen assigned to the 423rd Medical Squadron at RAF Alconbury and 422nd Medical Squadron at RAF Croughton, over the past two weeks. During this integration and professional development, the medical teams assisted in patient care and shared their own personal field experiences with one another.
