Colonel LINDSEY D. LAMB

Colonel Lindsey D. Lamb is the Vice Commander, USAFE-AFAFRICA Warfare Center (UAWC), Einsiedlerhof Air Station, Germany.  The Warfare Center is aligned under the Directorate of Operations, Strategic Deterrence, and Nuclear Integration and comprised of seven squadrons, one detachment, and the Warfare Division.  The UAWC conducts and supports warfighter readiness and training for service, joint, coalition, and partner nations across the European and African theaters and is the lead in providing realistic live and distributed multi-domain simulation training and exercises, aircrew training, Air/Land integration training, Integrated Air and Missile Defense training and certification, and building U.S. and partner capabilities.

Col Lamb entered the Air Force in May 2002 after graduating from the University of Alabama ROTC program with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.  He is a distinguished graduate of the Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. He served as both an instructor and flight evaluator pilot in the F-16C.  As an operational F-16C, RQ-170 and MQ-1 pilot, he has logged over 300 combat hours and over 1,000 combat support hours while participating in Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, RESOLUTE SUPPORT and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.  He has served as the 482nd FW Chief of Safety, 93rd Fighter Squadron Director of Operations, and the 482nd Operational Support Squadron Commander. 

Prior to his current position, Colonel Lamb was the Director of the Ramstein Air Defense System Integration Laboratory (RADSIL), Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Europe. Col Lamb was the principal program manager leading procurement and integration of a $957M portfolio of combat systems for HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA.  He is a graduate of the USAF Air War College and a Command Pilot with over 3,000 hours.
