6/10/2011 - Col. (Dr.) Charles Tedder (center), 2011 Medical Training Exercise in Central and Eastern Europe American co-director and 3rd Air Force command surgeon, shakes the hand of Macedonian Lt. Col. Slavce Cvetanovski, Army Training Area commander, as Col. Andreja Naumovski, MEDCEUR 11 Macedonian co-director and Military Medical Center commander, looks on June 9. A group of U.S. service members supporting MEDCEUR 11 visited the training area, which is the largest Macedonian military base. An annual Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff-sponsored regional and multilateral exercise, MEDCEUR is designed to provide medical training and operational experience in a deployed environment for U.S. and partner nations. The countries participating in this year's MEDCEUR are Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia and Norway. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Julius Delos Reyes)
