US Air Force supports exercise Saber Junction

U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard C-130 Hercules and C-17 Globemaster aircraft and Airmen will provide personnel air drop and air landing support of airfield seizure capabilities during exercise Saber Junction 19 at the U.S. Army's Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas Sept. 3-30, 2019.

The exercise is designed to assess the readiness and interoperability of the U.S. Army and Air Force in a joint, combined environment.

Exercise Saber Junction 19 contributes to the security of Europe as a whole, and provides the U.S., allies and partner nations a combined multinational training opportunity.

Participating nations are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and the U.S.
