Twelve F-15E Strike Eagles and approximately 80 Airmen attached to the 494th Fighter Squadron from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England flew missions with the Israeli Air Force accomplishing training on Defense Counter Air, Interdiction, Large Force Exercise, and Electronic Warfare range work.

Two C-130 Super Hercules aircraft and approximately 260 Airmen attached to the 37th Airlift Squadron from Ramstein Air Base, Germany were joined by Air Calvary soldiers from the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team of Vicenza, Italy to fly missions with the IAF. The airlift missions included low level flying in formation, airdrop of cargo and personnel, assault landing, and night vision goggle training.

Juniper Falcon 17 represents the combination of several bi-lateral component exercises that have been executed annually since 2011. These exercises were combined to increase joint training opportunities and capitalize on transportation and cost efficiencies gained by aggregating forces.

Juniper Falcon is one of many exercises completed between U.S. European Command and the IDF.
