USAFE Band performs at Nigerien Air Base 201 Published March 16, 2017 Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa The United States Air Forces in Europe Band performed at Nigerien Air Base 201 in Agadez, Niger, March 10, 2017. A rock band ensemble known as Touch 'n Go, which plays radio tunes of the classic rock and pop genres, performed a musical set on base. The USAFE Band represents a unique international musical heritage, building and preserving partnerships through official multi-national military and international community outreach events across two continents. The purpose of the visit is to increase morale for Airmen while building camaraderie between the U.S. and Forces Armées Nigeriennes and continue to increase our military partnership. Department of Defense service members work closely with our Nigerien partners in support of our mutual defense efforts.
