USAFE Jazz Band plays at cooperation symposium in Africa

The six-member U.S. Air Forces in Europe's Wings of Dixie jazz band played two hours of music here Sept. 16, 2014, during the U.S, South Africa Border Surveillance Technology Cooperation Symposium. The band is scheduled to play many events while in South Africa in support of the Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo 2014. In addition to the Air Force band making musical appearances in South Africa; Ramstein Air Base's (Germany) C-130J Super Hercules and the 105th Airlift Wing's C-17 Globemaster III from Stewart Air National Guard Base, New York, both flew into Waterkloof Air Force Base, to show their support for the expo as well.
