USAFE libraries add online audio books to internet

  • Published
USAFE libraries are adding online audio books for all ages to their collection.

TumbleTalkingBooks are audio books that can be accessed online. The collection includes both fiction and non-fiction including current popular titles and classics for adults, teens and children.

Listen to them at home or from any library computer, but they use streaming audio and are not for official use. Though the collection is just 100 titles, they will change periodically.

The new TumbleTalkingBooks for Adults are the perfect complement to the TumbleBooks for Kids that USAFE libraries have offered for almost two years. These animated talking picture books are just for kids and come in several different languages, including English, French and Hebrew. They can be used for language learning as well as just for fun.

They’re easy to use -- go to the www.usafelibraries.org site and click on the “TumbleBooks for Adults” link on the left side of the page -- no password, login, special equipment or software needed. Just pick a title and start listening. There’s no checkout period, and a book can be used by any number of people at the same time.
