U.S. military personnel from bases in Europe and the United States will participate in this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo July 13–15, 2018, at RAF Fairford, United Kingdom.
U.S. participation in RIAT highlights the strength of the U.S. commitment to the security of NATO, our ever-strong alliance with the U.K. and demonstrates our interoperability with allies and partners from around the world.
Various U.S. military aircraft and equipment are scheduled to be on display including, but not limited to: F-35A Lighting II Joint Strike Fighter, KC-135 Stratotanker, CV-22 Osprey, MC-130J Commando II, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-15C Eagle, B-1B Lancer, C-17 Globemaster, HH-60G Pave Hawk and KC-10 Extender.
The presence of these aircraft also commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force and the enduring strength of the U.S.-U.K. relationship and our shared values of peace, security and prosperity.
