Niger, U.S. doctors treat 550 patients in Ouallam

Three Nigerien women walk towards the medical tent during a medical civic action program (MEDCAP) in Ouallam, Niger, March 16, 2022. The Niger-U.S. joint MEDCAP provided medical treatment to approximately 550 patients, ranging from babies to the elderly. Engagements such as this increase cultural awareness, strengthen relationships and help U.S. service members understand problems local villagers face. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
