RAF Mildenhall supports forward deployment of F-35s to NATO’s eastern flank
ROYAL AIR FORCE MILDENHALL, England --
U.S. Airmen assigned to the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California, flew an air refueling mission in their KC-10 Extender aircraft from Royal Air Force Mildenhall to support F-35 Lightning II aircraft over Poland, Feb. 24, 2022. The F-35 aircraft, which afford NATO leaders the flexibility to project power and assert air dominance in highly contested environments, were engaged in an air policing mission.
