080429 - U.S. Air Force Gen. Roger Brady, Commander, United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), presents Canadian officer David Edwards, with the rank of Capt on April 29, 2008. Capt Edwards is assigned to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) as the ISAF Air Mobility Division Liaison Officer and is deployed from the 407th Squadron in Comox, British Colombia, Canada. Gen Brady was given the opportunity to promote Capt Edwards on the spot during his visit to the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (CAOC) in southwest Asia, where he stopped prior to visiting other bases in the AOR to meet with deployed Airmen from USAFE and to accomplish other NATO International Security Assistance Force business.
