RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) – Senior Airman Heidi Pyper and Senior Airman Adam Simmons tighten the wheel hub cover on a snowblower at the 435th Vehicle Readiness Squadron’s Special Purpose Shop. Airmen Simmons and Pyper are vehicle and vehicular equipment maintainers working performing seasonal maintenance. KIGALI, Rwanda (USAFENS) -- Rwandan peacekeepers in the Sudan board a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany and are returning to Kigali, Rwanda. RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFENS) -- Gen. Tom Hobbins and Airman 1st Class Buddy Rodgers cut a cake Jan. 19 in celebration of U.S. Air Forces in Europe’s 64th Anniversary. Traditionally, Airmen with the longest time on active duty and the least time on active duty are selected for the honor. General Hobbins is the USAFE commander and began his Air Force career December 1969, while Airman Rodgers, a graphics journeyman assigned to USAFE Headquarters, entered the Air Force in December 2003.
