10/7/2011 - RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Defense Commissary Agency Europe officials would like to announce a voluntary recall of all 93 percent ground beef with sell by dates of Oct. 7, 8 and 9.
Some packages may contain small green elastic particles. The products affected are the 1 lb, 1.5 lbs and 4-count patties of 93 percent ground beef.
Consumers can bring back any product with these dates to the commissary for a refund. U.S. Army Public Health Command Region-Europe inspectors are working with commissary officials to ensure all the affected products are pulled from store shelves.
