KINSHASA, Democratic Republic of the Congo – U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Amber Weaver, an aeromedical evacuation technician with the Wyoming Air National Guard's 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron applies ketchup to an exercise participant during the final mass-casualty exercise of MEDLITE 11, here May 4, 2011. The exercise consisted of a rare earthquake and several of scenarios causing the Democratic Republic of the Congo to activate their quick response force. 5/6/2011 - KINSHASA, Democratic Republic of the Congo -- U.S. Air Force active duty, National Guard and Reserve members along with members of the Congolese military participate in the mass casualty training scenario as the final event for MEDLITE 11 at the Kinshasa Airport, May 5, 2011. MEDLITE 11 is a joint medical exercise focused on aeromedical evacuation, to improve the readiness of U.S. Air Force and Democratic Republic of the Congo personnel. See slideshow.
