More than 260 Airmen and 18 F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, arrived here July 10, 2017, to participate in a flying training deployment.

Airmen from the 48th Fighter Wing and those visiting from the 52nd Fighter Wing will train alongside United Kingdom allies during  this pre-planned training engagement, which is scheduled to last several weeks.

These operations facilitate a number of training requirements for both aircrew and support personnel on the ground, and are necessary to ensure a ready and capable force. Through strengthened relationships and engagements with allies, the U.S. and NATO demonstrate a shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure region.
